Its ok bro, no worries.
I'll prolly google it and see if i can't find something. You can usually tell just by looking at a recipe if it stands a chance of working well or not. biggrin
I got the feeling that some of you folks do cook and have that family secret stashed away somewhere stirthepot . It's them home style recipes that are great.

I'm pretty sure I used:
olive oil
garlic
onion
oregano
basil leaf (remove it later)
can of crushed tomato
salt
pepper
I just don't remember the exact measurements I used though.
Hope this helps biggrin

The olive oil sounds good and the oregano plus the fresh basil leaf, now they sound like a winner drool0. I'll going to see if I can get some fresh basil. Of course I'll add the others too!!
I make my own dough and sometimes I add a little virgin olive oil to it, seems to make it a little for crispier and easier to spread on the pan.
Hey thanks so much. Be make'n it this Sunday. stirthepot eat0
Maybe Mark should find some icons of pizza and tacos biggrin

I havent tried it yet, but I'm on really good terms with a guy that owns one of the best pizzerias around, and this man KNOWS his pizza. I asked him about Lombardi's sauce (which IMO is the best in the world) and he told me basically how to make it.
The key is san marzano tomatoes. They're a breed of plum tomatoes. Make your sauce from them, add in a little olive oil, a little garlic, and a small amount of salt. It's best if you get fresh basil and shred it overtop but you can add it to the sauce too. Pretty basic, but that is what he told me. He wont give me his recipe of course, but said it is very similar and told me where to get San Marzanos.

The tomatoes are a winner, don't know what they are called here, but if they are the long ones, kind of pear shape then those are the ones I've been using.
Over here we can't buy really good Mozzarella Cheese and if we can it cost like $2 for just 70 grams of the stuff.
But I always felt there was something in my sauce that was missing, maybe it's the olive oil and fresh basil.
Well Sunday's coming eat0 so I hope my sauce comes out great now facepalm0 idn_smilie stirthepot drool0
