Not the most exciting listing, but it'll be several weeks before all the info gets up, I think....U.S. Amazon should be coming soon, too!

It's certainly a lot more expensive to buy through Amazon UK. I paid $25.00 including postage with Lulu (book price $18.00). Amazon's cost with postage is double that at $50 (book price $34.00).

That was a stupid question...we just talked about that last week...so the postage was $7.00 to get to Australia...I wonder why the Amazon postage is so high?

Amazon postage to Australia is always high, quite often more than the price of the book and can take up to 8 weeks to arrive. I recently sent a thick book to the US and airmail postage and packaging material cost me $7. The book arrived in the US in four days.
I buy 99% of my books from The Book Depository (http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/WEBSITE/WWW/WEBPAGES/homepage.php) in the UK now. Prices 30-60% cheaper than here and they despatch by FREE express airmail to anywhere in the world.
Did you notice that Amazon is charging almost double the price of Lulu for the book?

That is outrageous...I wonder what the US site is going to be like...

I wonder if the difference is because of the exchange rate? The book price is supposed to be the printed retail price thats on the book cover..they made a big deal about that...

Lulu charged me US$18.00 which is AU$18.85.
Amazon's price is £16.49 which is AU$34.46
If you check similar guitar books that makes its kinda expensive.

Another 'by the way' :) :
I guess I appear a bit an*l here about book prices but I buy several hundred books a year so I know my prices and every few dollars saved means another book or two I can buy.
As of today's mail, I now own 108 guitar-related books. It's time to start using them not collecting them! ;)
Cheers,
Ron

Actually I've found many people are pretty an*l about prices but also shipping is a bigger deal than I realized...many people have told me that they are holding off on getting the book until Amazon gets it so that they can save on the shipping but I don't know how that's gonna work for them...
Here's my "music library"

Nice display of books and guitars.
I used to have my guitars out but it got embarrassing when I was asked to play something but had to say I couldn't yet. http://img52.exs.cx/img52/271/l9iblush.gif
