This is just a question.

I'd like to find out where I can get info on a Marshall amp, like how old it is. It's a British made and I am sure that it is in the 80's... It's a Marshall Lead 20. At the time they also made the Lead 30, maybe some of you have owned one.

Thanks

Well I checked it out and my amp is a 1985 model. It's been a bedroom amp so it is in very good condition. I wonder how much it would bring in if I wanted to sell it. Has a vintage 30 12 inch speaker.

The Marshall JCM 800 I had actually had a sticker on the chassis next to the tubes that had the manufacturing date hand written on it.

Jake, the amp is a 20 watt. It is a very loud amp and can handle any pedal you put to it. It has a Vintage 30 Celestion speaker in it. I put it in it just for fun and it delivers a real rich tone

Price, I live overseas and I think shipping would cost a bit, but I would take $200 for it. Not sure but the treble and base and mid seem to be not in its peak condition, but just adjust using your guitar tone.
