Xotic Effects BB Preamp:
The BB Preamp is a distortion/overdrive pedal that offers a wide variety of sound. It's capable of 30dB+ clean boost with adjustable ±15dB two band active EQ's which adds a wide range of harmonic content for your ideal sound.

The BB also utilizes a pre-gain stage which allows the pedal sounds a very pristine clean to a very compressed smooth overdriven sound.

The BB Preamp also features true bypass switching for eliminating any signal interference when it is switched out.

The BB Preamp is all hand wired and hand crafted in the U.S.A., and can be used with AC adaptor (optional - neg tip) or 9V Battery.

I like mine WAY better than a tube screamer.

Having said that, I use it much less than my Direct Drive even though they can be considered very similar pedals. Its nice to have a less compressed sounding option sometimes....

most modded tubescreamers are tweaked for maximum gain. this one is tweaked for minimal gain.

Its the "gainest" of their 3 pedals. My RC Booster is more of a clean boost than anything else...
