I'm sure thats what it is (what else is there on a wah?) but I'm kind of wanting a change and I really liked Red Ants clips with the Fulltone...

depending on the wah you have, you may be able to replace the inductor too. so that could change the sound for you. either way, get a 3pdt switch and a fulltone pot and you'll be golden.

at some point, i may sell my Z-Vex Ooh Wah II, but that's a totally different animal.

Maybe I'll just rebuild the one I have, then...I'm not much of a wah guy so its sat broken in my pedalboard for about a year embarrased0

I will be needing it in the coming months if some of the things I have been called for come to fruition, though...

I don't think the Ooh Wah is up my alley, though smi

the Catalinbread Varioboost is actually a prototype. it's a Gibson Varitone circuit in a pedal with depth and volume knobs. Nic says he only made 10 in the initial run. the newer Varioboost professional is more of a one band parametric EQ.

hmm...I don't really know what that sounds like...

the varitone circuit is a bunch of resistors. setting one lets the full signal through. the other settings make the tone thinner and thinner. so you can take some really fat sounding humbuckers and make them more versatile. it's a cool pedal because you get control of the depth, and then can restore the volume to match the bypassed signal.
