I've never posted a clip before. Interestingly, a lot of the "paid" session stuff I've done, I don't even have a copy of. Anyway, here is something my buds and I did a few years ago. "Sway" by the Rolling Stones, live in the studio (including both guitar solos). I think it's me on the left, and I played both solo's. Drunk and sloppy, but fun.

Nice!
I like the slide solo...the "ride out" solo is great, too..the track as a whole has a great vibe.... sounds like it was a fun band to play with...AOK

Thanks. These guys are my best friends in the world, we've been playing together since we were kids. They don't like it when I play anything outside of pentatonic stuff, though, which is why everything I played on that is really straightforward. boring

Thanks. Yes, all one take, live. I like setting up my amp tone differently for lead sounds, but it was set more for my rhythm tone in this case. idn_smilie
Also, this particular Les Paul is NOT set up for slide, so there's some fret "tinking" going on during the slide solo, because the action is super low. You can hear me taking off the slide afterwards too, if you listen closely.

I think the "liveness" of the track lends itself to the vibe very nicely...
very good playing there and singing too

Thanks, I'm only singing the high harmony parts. The singer....well, he's not much of a singer any more obviously, he kind of gave it up once he had a bunch of kids. Priorities, you know.
