1963 AMC Rambler American.

I have a line on one through a student...its blocking some shop space where he is working on his 1961 Ford truck and they want it out of there for about $350. I've wanted a small car to work on that wasn't my primary transportation (like my truck) and my father in law suggested and early 60's AMC Rambler American as being a well made and simple to work on car.....

The one that my student found allegedly is in good shape but isn't running. We'll go take a look at it later this week. For that kind of money it can sit in the shop until I have time to work on it if its complete. :-)

We'll see...I don't have all of the details and if I get something it needs to be automatic so my wife can drive it...theres a chance its "3 on the tree", and might not have the original radiator which might be a problem....

It would be a good "learning project" for me, though...
