Year: 2008
Manufacturer: Ernie Ball
Model: Music Man Stingray HH Bass
Case: Original Hard
Color: Olive Gold
Condition: Brand New
Description: This Ernie Ball Stingray HH Bass is seriously one of the best we've ever seen, and the sound...massive. This is loaded with humbuckers, has a Rosewood fretboard and comes with a hard case. The finish color (with matching headstock) is one of the coolest - Olive Gold. Nice. If you're serious about bass guitar, you just can't do better than an Ernie Ball Stingray HH Bass.

$1,499.00

I'd like it if it wasnt for the pickguard

For as good as those basses play and sound, I just can't get past the look. I think it's those big ass pickups more than anything else, though the pickguard on that one doesn't do it any favors either.

I like the color of that one for some reason. :o

somebody on HC called the pickguard "zebra puke". i'm inclined to agree. if i picked it up and absolutely had to have it, i'd change the guard to something solid.

Agreed about the pick guard. Take it off and it's amazing.

That's also the first time I can recall seeing a bass with a blade pickup selector switch.

I have felt that way about all of EB stuff.

Although they are prolly extremely nice.

The pickguard is beyond hideous.

Aside from that the EBMM basses are super nice. I guy I played with had a similar, older version of that and it had one of the best bass tones I have ever heard.

The EBMM basses always sound good, although they aren't the most versatile bass if its your only one. I agree with the pickguard comments but I'll own an ugly instrument that sounds good any day.

EBMM is now releasing a new import series called Sterling. i expect them to be the same quality as the G&L Tribute, Fender MIM Classic/Deluxe, and PRS SE lines. i know the bass will be a single pickup, but hopefully they'll come out with a double if the line is successful. then i'll consider one as the pickguard is less likely to be hideous.
