Ok, I thought I'd talk about nuts tonight. Eat a few nuts a day as an antidote to heart disease. People who munch on nuts at least five times a week have roughly half the chance of heart attacks and coronary death as those who ate nuts less than once a week. Even snacking on nuts once a week appears to cut heart disease risk by about 25 percent. Peanuts, almonds and walnuts seem to be the top choice.
It's not as zany as it may seem. Nuts are rich in fiber and monounsaturated olive-oil type fats, known to counteract heart disease.
Nuts are packed with antioxidants, including vitamin E, selenium (especially Brazil nuts) and ellagic acid (walnuts), that could guard arteries against the ravages of cholesterol. Yes nuts are high in fat, so what, most is beneficial fat.

hey just eat a sensible amount and you won't get fat, don't eat too much or you might gain weight
