San B’do GOP women ignite outrage with ‘Obama Food Stamp’

I am not making this up. The Chaffey Community Republican Women, Federated, mailed out this image of Barack Obama’s head atop a donkey’s body on a food stamp, along with pictures of fried chicken, watermelon, and ribs. The image was on a newsletter sent to about 200 members, according to this story in The Press-Enterprise.
Two black members of the GOP women’s group were among the first to complain. The group’s president, Diane Fedele, said she simply wanted to deride a comment Obama made over the summer about how as an African-American he “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills,” according to The Press-Enterprise.
“It was strictly an attempt to point out the outrageousness of his statement. I really don’t want to go into it any further,” Fedele said. “I absolutely apologize to anyone who was offended. That clearly wasn’t my attempt.”

Wow, I try to be an optimist...it has great shock value.
Michael Richards (I affectionately call him Klu Klux Kramer) would like it ;)

All I know is that I need to get us a "smiliey head shaking in disgust" smiley for stuff like this...I don't really see any overt racism in everyday life here but I guess it still exists in America in a big way....

yes it does, it's unfortunate...at the same time comedians love it.
I was watching a comedy special, which was done by a man of Indian(from India) descent whose entire show was making fun of indians.

There is always some humor to be found in pointing out the differences in people but when its your whole schtick it gets old very fast...

David Ernest Duke (born July 1, 1950) is a former Louisiana State Representative, a candidate in presidential primaries for the Democratic and Republican parties, and former Grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
Duke has been criticised as an Anti-Semite for his works on the subject of Jewish plots for world domination, and as a white supremacist, while Duke claims he is a white nationalist. Duke denies being a racist and says he is a racial realist asserting "all people have a basic human right to preserve their own heritage."[8] He speaks in favor of racial segregation and white separatism.[9][10][11]
David Duke has taught a course in History and International Relations at the Ukrainian Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (MAUP). Duke has also unsuccessfully run for the Louisiana Senate, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Governor of Louisiana and twice for President of the United States.
