It works. The cabling is a little odd.
It's a high impedance mic, but has a low impedance adapter in-line, so it has an XLR connector.

Did you want to sell it or pawn it? I'll tell you what, let me get a buddy down here that's an expert on Turner Dynamic microphones and have him check it out.

If it is broken, I'd love to buy it off of you so I could put SM58 guts in it and use it for DJing. :baimun:

The hook at the top is really interesting. Maybe it was some kind of budget broadcast mic or school announcement mic?
What does the cable pinning look like? That would probably go a long way towards figuring out it's functionality.
EDIT: Or Google. :o

Thanks. I didn't find that one.
The cabling is a screw in connector.
No, I'm not selling it. You gotta get into it pretty close, but it sounds cool.

I'd say it's worth $650.
Okay, I'll give you $100.

I don't want to sell it. Looking around ebay, though, I didn't see another like it.
Knowing value interests me.
I need to get a new high impedance cable for it so I can run it into a 1/4" plug. That'd be cool.

I was just playing along with fanuvbrak's Pawn Stars reference. I don't really want to buy the mic, and I have absolutely no idea what it's worth.

If you ever do want to sell it though I would be interested. I'm trying to gradually build an oddball mic locker alongside my regular one.

You probably don't yet know who Reitze is... Look him up, and you will see why his workmanship alone is cause to be banned from this forum...
