my TS9 - I picked up a kit to mod it to 808 specs a long time ago.

As much as I like my Barber DD, I'm still not sure I like it more than the OD channel on my Classic 30. :o I like it more for lower gain stuff, but for medium gain, I might still prefer the Classic 30's drive channel. :o

i still think you would have liked the MI Audio Tube Zone better.

What pedal "food group" is that from? More of a distortion?

I believe it's a fuzz.

I believe it's a fuzz.

it is, but it isn't. its much more stable, doesn't cut out the bass, and doesn't get that horrible input overload most fuzzes have with humbuckers. its the fuzzy distorted anti-fuzz.

so much stuff to buy :o

I think my next purchase for myself (in 2018 when I have money again) will be a Stonebender, though. Thats the pedal that I have nothing like that intrigues me the most.

I think my next one will be a new delay. I'm afraid the switch on my Digidelay is starting to go.

I'm torn between the Hardwire delay and the MXR Carbon Copy. I'm leaning toward the Carbon Copy for a couple of reasons. #1, I really only use one setting on the Digidelay, so I won't miss having the other 6 types of delay. #2, I like the switch on the MXR pedal. I know it's a big beefy switch. The switches on pedals with the whole footpad that you press down are usually little tiny mini switches and I've had at least 2 of those go bad on other pedals (and I'm pretty sure the Digidelay is on it's way out.)

replace the digidelay switch?

i also suggest the EHX #1 Echo and the soon to be released XO Memory Man. you may also want to check out an Ibanez AD-9 or BOSS DD-3, especially if they're Keeley modded.

I like my MXR Distortion +

I use a TS-9 too, and I like them using them together.

I don't think I've ever replaced a PCB mounted component and had the device work correctly afterward. :o

It'll do both, but a lot of times I've got to stomp it pretty hard a few times before it will do either.
