That is spectacular, look at that interior, it looks perfect!
Only $18,000, you dont REALLY need to buy a house do you?

Although I appreciate your taste in the classics, that is BUTT UGLY! :o
What is that? A classic Suburban or something?

First statement is very wrong.
Second is very correct. ;D

It would be a nice companion piece for my daily transportation...

Not my thing, man. Give me a SS Chevelle or a Boss 429.
I guess for haulage the Suburban would win, though...

my commute is only 2-3 miles and our new house will be even closer so the gas isn't an issue for me. My last car was a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe and I enjoy driving this much more ;D

Oh...it's not the gas at all. What year is it? '66? '68?
You just don't normally see people with vehicles that old as their daily drivers. I guess that's one of the big differences between southern California and southern Ontario. Road salt kills cars dead. :'(

Its a 1965...car can last forever here if they are taken care of...here in Orange there is a huge classic car culture and even just having it sit in front of the studio gets people coming in a asking questions :)

Very nice.
My first car when I was 17 was a 1969 Olds Cutlass. It was my dad's that he put up on blocks and kept for me.
That was a hell of a lot of car for a 17 year old. Granted it was only a 350 and not a 454 but it still went like hell.
Unfortunately, my brother wrecked it, so it is no more.

As i said in the other thread, i had a Buick GS455. yep, with the 455 CID motor, ram air hood and everything.
It was fast. Mighty fast.

My first car was a 1989 Ford Ranger 4x2 with a 2.3L 4 cylinder. It had about 89 screaming horsepower. It was not fast.
Damn thing was a great little truck though. It had 235,000 miles on it when I sold it, and I saw the guy that bought driving it for several years after that.

Phil513
10-16-2008, 05:53 PM
No, hahaha. i havent owned an AMC product, other than a jeep, but it was after chrysler bought it.
My cousin had a gremlin though. It had a straight 6 and three speed stick, and was actually pretty gutsy little car.

There is a completely cherry Chevelle for sale on my way to work that I pass every day...once again something I would buy if I had the spare cash. People are dumping their "toys" around here and there are tons of deals on cool old cars right now.

2000-2002: 1996 Plymouth Breeze
2002-Present: 2000 Ford Ranger
2003-2004: 1998 Suzuki Esteem Wagon
2004-Present: 2004 Dodge Stratus
2006-Present: 1999 Pontiac Montana
I've also had a 1998 Kawasaki Vulcan 500EN since 2002.

^ I lold. hahahahaha. I see a pattern . . . .
The Hyundais were company lease vehicles...it used to be a sweet deal where you got a low monthly payment, no down or registration they paid the insurance and every 15,000 miles or 12 months they just gave you a new car. The prices have gone up and while the cars are getting better every year after about 5 years you start asking yourself why you don't own anything after all the money you've put out...
