so you watch movies on your computer? or do you still have the tv?

I haven't watched network tv in 10 yrs, other than football games.

I just watch HBO and showtime mostly.

I own a TV, and have both a DVD player and VHS player, and own probably close to 400 movies, and some TV shows.

I have all 11 seasons of Frasier, 11 seasons of South Park (win), The Sheild, House, Lost, old Columbo and Kung Fu, lots of others.

I like the fact that i watch according to my own time table, and can turn it off when i want. I get my news from the net, or my 40 min commute to and from work.

I dunno, this seems to work for me. When i had TV i tended to just flip around and settle on something i didnt even really want to watch, but just did cause it was on.

I usually end up watching whatever is on after 11:00 or some of the shows I DVR.
By the time I get the kids to bed and the dishes done it's usually late. I gave up on network tv years ago.

I'm a die hard CHARGER FAN!!! I go back to the Don Coryell, Dan Fouts, Charlie Joiner, Chuck Muncie, Kellen Winslow, Louie Kelcher days.

Ahhh the days of Air Coryell.

Its not easy being a San Diego sports fan though. :'(

Chargers are good this year! Rivers look like a great developing quarterback and they just kicked the shit out of the pat's.

you think that's hard try being a sports fan in Buffalo >:(

Hahaha. Well, the Bills had a hearbreaking run there for awhile, but have been a good team for the most part.

I remember when the Chargers went to the superbowl with Humpries, against the 49rs.

God, that was probably the worst superbowl ever. UGH.

But yes, i have hope this year. I think they have a large expectation this year to rise up to, i think they havent reached full potential yet.

Wow, this is interesting. I was just reading up on Monday Night Football, cause i remember Dad and I watching when it was Meridith, Cosell, and Gifford. I came across this. I dont remember watching this game tho.

One of the most remembered moments in Monday Night Football history occurred on December 8, 1980, yet had nothing to do with the game or football in general. During a game between the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, Howard Cosell broke the news of famed Beatle John Lennon's assassination,[1] news that stunned a nationwide audience.

“ This, we have to say it, is just a football game, no matter who wins or loses. An unspeakable tragedy confirmed to us by ABC News in New York City: John Lennon, outside of his apartment building on the West Side of New York City, the most famous perhaps of all The Beatles, shot twice in the back, rushed to Roosevelt Hospital, dead ... on ... arrival. ”

In 1974, Lennon had appeared in the Monday Night Football broadcast booth and was briefly interviewed by Cosell.

Interesting.
