View Full Version : OK..who uses EZ Drummer?

I don't think the Addictive Drums works with ProTools 8 (I've spent a bunch of my afternoon researching the problem) which is a bummer because someone gave me a great "deal" on it this week.

I'm thinking of getting EZ Drummer for programming MIDI drums and I was wondering what your experiences are. I know that Micwalt uses it with his MIDI drumset and it sounded pretty cool. Anyone else?

I am running Mac OS10.5 with 4 gb of ram into ProTools LE version 8

I use EZ Drummer. It's a nice tool to get some drum grooves happening. I use it with Garageband - works like a charm.

I got the lite version w/ my firebox - it work in the same way as Addictive Drums - VST plugin. It sounds good.. also has a humanize feature that looks cool

I'm probably just going to sack up and order it today...it sounds like no one has anything bad to say about it (one of my teachers in the studio uses it and likes it, too) so I'll probably pull the trigger when I get into work...

All of my most recent stuff is done with EZdrummer. I love it. :)

This song is pretty shit, but the drums are not bad for the way I like drums...

Now, keep in mind that you can set these up to sound a lot 'roomier' than I have them here, I just don't care for a real room sound as much as a direct sound.

That's not a bad little tune man... I really like vocal harmonies they really take a song up a notch.

So I buy EZdrummer, start using it and as I demonstrate how Addictive doesn't work on my system to the composer and the engineer who teach here I get it working with no problem. :facepalm:

So now I have two drum programs, and I didn't need to spend the $179 in the first place. :HB::HB:
