An old friend of mine is manufacturing guitar kits based on the old Airline/Supro/Res-o-glas models and he asked me to do some video comparisons featuring his guitars and some original Supros and an Eastwood.

Sweet! I love the raunch in the first video...I think thats my favorite sound in the videos.

In the second video I like the Resoglass guitar better than the Blue Eastwood. The Supro is kind of neat...

The Eastwood is a wood body and the Resoglass is a semi hollow fiberglass body. It's funny all of those guitars are pretty much similarly constructed but the all sound pretty different.

I'm planning on playing my resoglas at the gig next Saturday.

I really liked the slide tone in the first video. I've never heard an Eastwood but I wasn't too impressed, especially next to the Resoglass guitar.

The slide guitar has the EVH style angled bridge pickup. The Princeton was set to full stun.

We did a bunch more stuff including more slide stuff he'll be posting once he gets them edited.
