I see them priced at around $650 on eBag.

I think it certainly is too much for my Madison Square Basement, but do you think I'd get SOME use out of it?

If you can get it for cheap and have a need for a mixing board, why not?

Don't get me wrong, it's complete overkill for even most live applications, but if it's cheap, it's better to have something and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I mean, $300 or so could get you a small 8 preamp board, but that's the bare minimum you'd need to fully mic a live band. With that, you'd not have to worry about running out of channels unless you're trying to mic a HUGE freakin' band.

Of course, the downside is that it's a Behringer, and they aren't exactly know for their quality.

overkill, but it's $50. And if it doesn't work you're not out that much :p

I have a Behringer 8 channel powered mixer, and it still works fine after about 4 years.

Although i dont gig with it either, it just sits there and gets turned on and off. :o

my Behringer bass amp gave me one issue (which was caused by another person, actually), and has been fine since.
that was atleast 7 years ago, if not more.

It's up to 200 bucks on the auction with 5 and a half hours to go.

That's still a pretty good deal, but not for something that I don't really need.

Ah well, it was fun to dream.
