Actually, right now im in the middle of a 7 day test to spend NO money at all, other than gas for the car and any bills that are due.

I planned all my meals to be cooked at home, NO buying anything for 1 week.

Why do you hate America?











Actually, I've been bringing my lunch from home about 90% of the time for the past month or two. It's nice not spending $6 or more a day on lunch.

I dont hate america. I just already gave my money, they took it and gave it to banks.

I figured i'd hold on to whats left at the moment. ;D

Its just an excersize really. I have been pretty frugal overall. But it is good to practice planning ahead, and avoiding impulse buying.

Its funny how many times this week i thought about picking something up, then asking myself if i really need it.

I've been trying to tell Mrs. P that we really don't need to go on a Carribean cruize, even though it's only $250 per person. Yeah, it's a good deal, but it'd end up costing at least $1000 by the time all was said and done, and we really don't need to be spending that kind of money.

In case you guys are wondering I brought this up cuz there's a denny's commercial that says since the bank got bailed out that Denny's will bail you out. ;D

I gave up television 7 years ago. hahaha. I havent seen a commercial in i dont know how long.

I have the blockbuster online, so i see what i want. Other than sports, i dont miss TV at all.

I've never like Denny's much.


Plus, when a good friend of mine died in High School a bunch of us kids went to Denny's together after her funeral, and I'm always reminded of that when I go there, which sucks. :'(

yeah, but the main reason I don't go there is that I don't like the food. I'd rather go to waffle house or even steak n shake if im in the "24 hour crap food" mood.

Wow. A few years ago i had a business trip to North Carolina. My hotel was next to a Waffle House.
