What was the make and model of that amazing cedar top acoustic you got? I'm in Greensboro right now. ;)

It's a Takamine, but they don't make that model anymore.

I'm going to hijack and ask Mrs. P the name of that song she played us at the end of the "Saturday night" acoustic jam. I had meant to ask you in the morning but I was kinda drunk on bacon. :o

Yeah, I picked that up used from the Greensboro GC. It was going to come down to a shootout between that and a nice Seagull they had in stock on Friday, but by the time we came back through on Monday, the Seagull had been sold.
I think I probably got the better guitar anyway.

Especially at that price - those sold in the neighborhood of $1200.00 new IIRC. That is a great acoustic....

I think the regular price was around $1200, but from what I've gathered, when they were discontinued, Musician's Friend and some other places blew them out for around $600 or so.
Still, I paid $500, and the guitar is in practically new condition. The sales guy at Guitar Center even said "That's in better shape than most of our new stuff". :o
