I'm torn. It has great features, but it looks "home made" to me for some reason and its nearly $4,000. The color and finish also remind me of those "faded" gibsons, too...

Wow. Personally, i think thats one of the prettiest guitars he's posted.

I love that simple pickguard. Thats just really a lovely guitar.

I doubt if its worth the $$ tho . . .

About the finish.

I'm no fan of the Gibson faded finish, but mainly because they don't do any grain filler, so you can feel the woodgrain, and mahogany is a pretty open grain, so it's not nice feeling like raw maple.

That one looks like it's grain filled and just finished it a non-gloss finish. I'm sure it'd feel better to me than the Gibson version. It'd probably buff up to a nice gloss, if you so desired.
