Sorry if this has been dealt with prior to this, but I purchased the M-box 1 dirt cheap because I was told by the young kid that had it that it wouldn't work with anything but window XP. I know there has to be something out there now to allow it to work with Win 7 (32 bit) at least.

With that said, I have ProTool LE 6.4 and have been trying to find Pro Tool LE 8.0.1 (as this is the last version that supports M box1) Any idea where I can find a version of it to down load and install?

Also, I find the guitar recordings that I have done thus far are real digital sounding. I would like to get it more natural...any ideas or any good sites that give tips and tricks?

I am also looking at the Alesis Q25 as a controller to trigger drums and ad some back ground keys...any experience with this unit or the Q49?

Thanks guys :)

It may be hard to find PT8 from retailers now that 9 is out.
You can buy it directly from the Avid online store, though.

I have read some really bad reviews over the Alesis 25 key unit.

I got this one and love it, it has both keys and MPC pads for drumming, and 99 bucks.

I found Pro Tool LE 8.0.1 to DL for free, but my memory on my laptop is just shy so it won't load it up. I am going to upgrade the ram now.

I really like the Akai too, thank you for the info on that, I am going to order one of them for sire today. I found them for 80.00 shipped.

Any ideas on how to or if the M box 1 will work with windows 7? I know it is a 32 bit vs 64 bit problem. I think if you can run win 7 in 32 bit, it will work, but don't know for sure.
