It's definitely a flawed performance, but an honest one.

In the big second solo I quote Gary up until around the part where I switch to the back pickup, and then I just go with whatever comes out until I'm done, and then requote the melody a couple of times. Apart from maybe loosely touching on a theme or 2 that Gary does in the original solo, I usually have no idea what's going to happen there night to night.

Lots of warts and almost there's but I felt like there was some good stuff in there as well.

If nothing else, it's a case study in how to recover from glaring mistakes in a freeform solo without actually stopping and leaving the stage. :o :D
