It was a supercar in its day, was the best thing they made, & all us high school car geeks worshipped them. Now it looks really dated, though I still dig it for the history it represents.

I know before I even open a Chihili "Hot or Not" that whatever is featured will simply be HOT.

I like the 928, but it's a nostalgia thing for me really. Growing up in the 80's it was a Porsche and it was hot. That was it. I still like them for that reason, it was a boyhood fantasy to own one. Probably the same reason I still love the old IROC Zs and Monte Carlo SS.

No, actually I havent been there in FOREVER. :( However, working in Oakland, around the time of it, I get to see some cool stuff driving up Forbes. This last time the best one I saw was a Lotus Esprit. I heard something I thought was a Ferrari, turned around, it was the Esprit. Blue.
HAWT.

That's a mighty fine looking Porsche, but...
Maybe it's the small town PA redneck in me but this Grand National out-hots anything imported that you've posted so far.

Or perhaps it's because I could actually squeeze myself into one...

It's a sleeper. Definitely hot. Super hot. I've always loved those suckers. I still have a weakness for the European GTs though, specifically the Italian ones.

I actually still have a Car and Driver from back in '84 or whenever those Grand Nationals came out. Apparently it was a bit of an embarassment for GM, because for that year the GN (with its cute litte V6 turbo) could spank the Vette in the quarter mile. That was causing GM's marketing people a whole lot of problems. hahaha.

The camaros & trans ams during the 80s were completely anemic for the most part, as was the C3 for the most part. Not hard to beat with some real horsepower.

Yeah, i know. I actually had a mustang GT from 82, when they first returned to the 5.0 liter HIGH OUTPUT!! OMG!!!
A rabbit GTI could beat those back then. :o But it was still a cool car. hahaha.
