Thats pretty. The frog inlay is ridiculous, though.

You should do these in the Acoustic guitar forum. Its LONELY in there :-)

I agree that it's a pretty guitar and the inlay is a bit over the top.

However, I do think it's interesting that there aren't any frets over the body. If you think about it, how often do you play after the 14th fret on a non-cutaway acoustic? It's as if the owner is admitting that they're just going to strum along. Kudos for that.

i'll make you a deal. point me in the right direction for cool looking acoustic guitars like that and i'll incorporate one a week into the GPOTD. i post the occasional acoustic, but definitely not enough of them.

I agree about the inlay in its presentation - not the workmanship. it is very well done, but looks really iffy. That is why I mentioned it was a customer request - Rob would not do that on his own.

I have no problem doing it myself, but i can point you in the direction of a good number of custom builders (a few I have met).
