Cremating the evidence of the date you had last night?

A very likely alternative.

Although, if I had a date, Mrs. EF being 8.1 months preg-o might be cremating my Arse !

But no !

Alas, it's a good ole halved Pork Shoulder going in the smoker at noon-time. Hoping it's ready for din-din about 6 o'clock.

We have nearly the same block wall and lack of grass :-)

Nice.

I actually have the dog holes upgrade, with the 8 foot weeds just out of the shot.

Our new house actually has grass in the back yard. The back wall is a nice new block wall that you can tell the rear neighbors paid for..their house is very nice.

The west wall looks like a "do it yourself" project that is leaning into the neighbors yard and they didn't bother to clean any of the grout that oozed out on our side of the wall and the east property line is a chain link fence that allows you to see Sandford and Son (I mean our neighbors to the east of us) with their falling down house and backyard full of trash.

I'll be investing in at least 75ft of Vinyl fencing before the year is over, I'd imagine....

Mr EF brought me a plate of this fine feast to his lesson this morning and it fucking ROCKED! I've never had beans with Jim Beam in them and they tasted awesome. The pork was smoky and delicious, the potatoes and bread ruled.

I wanna eat at their house everyday. :o

Oh man!

Even though I'm 2 days late, that looks AMAZING. I needs to gets me a smoker as soon as I'm gainfully employed. I'd be doing ribs and pork shoulders all summer long. I did a shoulder on my gas grill last summer and it turned out great. Had the apple cider/spice wet mop that I lovingly brushed her with for about 10 hours. Turned out fantastic. I'll do that again this summer in lieu of wood smoker.

That looks awesome. Where did you fins the half pork shoulder? I usually only find whole here and they take quite awhile to smoke (12 -14 hours). A half would be nice when I don't have the time to do a whole...
