Yeah, i was sorta keeping up with your guys' talk on his gig report, i really love to hear about you folks experiances actually performing, its very intersting since my only audiance is myself. hahaha.

No actually when i get sleepy its like a switch. You dont know how many movies i have that i have only seen the first half of.

Its interesting cause over at HC there were so many posts you could just fade in and out and no one would really notice. But here its still more like a conversation, there are those moments where "where'd he go?"

But its growing here. i like it. I havent been to HC even to lurk in days.

Yeah...its funny when after a couple of weeks someone realizes that a forumite has been gone for a month or so and puts up a "where's so and so?" post.

I don't spend as much time over there either although I check in every day for a little bit. I'm enjoying the scene here as well and I think it will grow slowly and steadily over time....

Me too.

Having all this stuff helps with bringing people into the studio for lessons and selling books...moreso than our yellow pages and other print advertising, so it totally worth it but like any small business owner the current economic situation scares the pants off me. Its nice to have an "online social life" that dovetails with the business, though. I really am lucky that I get to do something I love for a living.

Don't be surprised if you see some Google or banner advertising on the forum though to help pay for the bandwidth or a hosting upgrade as things ramp up. A few clicks a day will actually cover expenses for something like this pretty easily...
