Guild GAD-50E
The Guild GAD-50E is a premier dreadnaught body-style acoustic guitar. This guitar is built with a solid Sitka spruce top, which produces voluminous yet warm acoustic tone. The solid Indian rosewood back and sides offer a beautiful visual contrast to the natural gloss finish of the spruce top, as well as add richness to the guitar’s tone and increased projection. The body of the guitar also features mahogany binding and Guild scalloped spruce bracing. The one-piece mahogany neck is joined to the body with a dovetail neck joint. The fretboard of the GAD-50E is Indian rosewood, which along with the mahogany neck allows for comfortable playing yet pronounced dynamics. The neck also features abalone side dot inlays as well as ornate Mother-of-Pearl inlays at the fret markers. The traditional Guild headstock features a Mother-of-Pearl logo as well as Grover Roto-matic chrome plated tuners to ensure intonation. The Indian rosewood pin-style bridge features ebony bridge pins with Mother-of-Pearl dot inlays in them. Other features of this guitar include a bone nut and saddle, back center mosaic inlay and internally reinforced strap button. The guild GAD-50E also features a Fishman Acoustic Matrix VT undersaddle pickup system. This flagship preamp system offers incredible sound replication, while being subtly housed within the body of the guitar. Even the volume and tone knobs are located discreetly within the inside of the sound hole. As if the existing value of the GAD-50E wasn’t enough, it also includes a deluxe hard shell case.
