Has some nice features, although I don't like the ditching of FW in favor of USB. If I didn't need to upgrade to an Ensemble I'd seriously consider it.

Apogee has some really beautiful products for Mac users, for sure... I don't think that would motivate me to replace my Duet, but hmmm. The One looks incredibly practical, depending on how well it works I'd definitely consider one of those.

Yeah, the One definitely appeals to me as a quick sketch tool and if I had a laptop I'd definitely own one. I do questions why the new, $3k Symphony system uses USB though...

I have horrible Ensemble GAS though. :o

the switch to USB worries me. FW is much better for recording interfaces.

I would have liked to see thunderbolt on the Duet 2, but that was wishful thinking.

Supposedly the latency and stability is even better than the FW original. Apogee claims that USB2 is more than adequate for the average Duet user's needs. I guess we'll find out mid-May. :idk:

I have an Ensemble now anyway. :o
