Sweet! I just got a chance to listen...what guitar are you using? Its a really cool sound....nice playing, too. DO you set the phrase length (in bars) on the pedal?

Thanks! I'm using the Schecter Banshee I just got, it plays and sounds great for the price.

You set the phrase length just by how long you play, whether it's 4/8/16 bars. You can also set the time signature, although I didn't get into that in the video.

Wow...I didn't realize you could get a Schechter to sound like that...I like the lipstick tube pickups....

Would you be offended if I moved this thread to the "Gear Reviews" section,. though? There will still be a redirect post in here but I think your thread will have a longer life in there....

Yeah, this guitar is the first I've had with a lipstick pup and I'm loving it. They are Duncan Designed models, which are better than I anticipated.

No problem moving the thread. :-)

This particular guitar is very versatile. It has the lipstick neck and a humbucker bridge. The middle position is both and the bucker is coil-tapped so I can get a nice twangy bridge sound too.

Which pickup combo were you using in the video?

It was really nice and chimey...

I believe the first rhythm part was middle position and the bassier part was the lipstick, then back to middle for the solo. The humbucker is a little louder so I didn't use it for the purpose of keeping everything level in the clip.

That's very cool.

You did do some very tastey licks there. Nice thumb picking too.

But the head bobbing with the beat when you turn the drums back up at 2:45 totally makes the video. :D

It really does sound great. I need something like that like I need a hole in my head. I'd never get anything accomplished other than playing with the pedal. :o

That amp sounds really good too.

I have one of those pedals too- it's really helped to improve my playing...well sort of. What kind of amp are you using? It sounds really good.

It's funny, I've gotten a bunch of comments on how good the tone of that amp is. It's a little 10 watt practice amp made by Park, the budget line Marshall put out about 15-20 years ago. It came with my first guitar, a Squier strat, as a package about 13 years ago. :o
