Okay, that was just momentary.

It's climbing back up to around 8150 now. :)

Some "expert" i heard on the radio this morning said it will trend down a few more days, have one really good day, about 1000 points up (which would only be back to 9500 or so), then just stay flat for a long long long time.

I hate to be a naysayer, but I call bullshit. Something is going on that shouldn't be. There's usually a reason for a turn around and I haven't heard one yet.

Up 216 on the day now. Must be that everyone is convinced we hit bottom and the buying has begun.

Either that or Miley Cyrus is donating 50% of her CD and DVD sales to the Fed.....

Recently if the ¥yen is strong the value of stocks seem to go down a lot. I don't play or invest in the market but if I was going to I would wait and study which companies had government contracts and see what their stocks bottom out at during the last economic downfall and probably buy them when they bottomed out. They seem to rebound the quickest.
