The Xaviere XV-900 is a classic 335-sized Semi Hollowbody. Arched laminated maple top and back with maple rim covers a solid maple block that runs from neck to endpin. Alive and sonically warm, it still handles feedback well and can play at very loud levels. A pair of our famous GFS Fat Pat alnico humbuckers gives the XV-900 the tone and response of a much, much more expensive instrument.

Redesigned for 2009, The XV-900 Series is a classic Maple semi hollow body. We have upgraded the tuners, pickups, potentiometers and hardware at the factory.

The 22 hand levelled, hand dressed frets ensure perfect playability right out of the box.

We have a limited amount of these guitars arriving so don't get shut out!

Looks like a lot of guitar for 299:aok: I'm not a semi hollow guy though, but if I was, I'd hit it.

Might be pretty cool for the money...

might be. these just came out, so they've got slight improvements over the last batch. i think Jay's tackling the shitty tuner issue with the next run. hopefully, that'll put it into Ibanez Artcore territory. if that happens, i'd rather give the money to Jay than to GC/Ibanez. the only question then is what pups do i put in it, and do i spend the money on a bigsby. because i'm more inclined to spend the money on a Reverend Pete Anderson sig than anything else right now.

Three hundred bucks?

Man what a bad time for the University to not renew my contract. Not only is that thing friggin' GORGEOUS but it looks like it's got some quality acoutrements. That color is stunning as well.

I like the Xaviere! Their pickups are generally pretty good stock as well.

That Reverend is very hot as well - but a bit pricey for a Rev (about $1050.00 street price)

i can deal with the extra expense of the Rev. its an archtop with a specialized bracing system. and of course its more expensive because its a sig. but if its done right, then its absolutely worth it.

though, i'd like to see how it compares to the Epiphone ES-175 and the Gretsch Electromatic 5120.

That is a very nice looking guitar.

I'm happy enough with my ***** 335 copy to not be tempted by another semi, but if I didn't have the *****, that would probably be up at the top of my cheap semi list.
