No way I'm paying anywhere near that for production Fender.

I'm seriously thinking my new guitar buying days are over. It's all used or nothing for me at these prices.

No more Warmoths?

As for the Tele - nice! Very, very overpriced though. That is up about $400.00 from last year!

If Fender is going to charge so much for guitars they should be better than this....

Warmoth is a little different, though they've also gotten more expensive since I've built mine.

I'd much rather drop $1200 or so on a Warmoth than $1800 on a Deluxe Strat or Tele though.

I find the more I read, the more I see the more mature and more talented players choosing that color combo on the Tele.

Is there just something reminisc about that black on natural ?

depending on budget if I wanted a bolt on fender style guitar I would only go Warmoth or Suhr. I'm done with Fender asa company...

The butterscotch/black combo is just most reminicent of the 50's era Fender that all of the baby boomer are trying to relive.

I happen to like the color combo and almost ordered my Suhr tele that way until I was trans wine....

Makes me wanna play some Springsteen! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the looks of that one, but yeah...at that price I'd rather put the money into building a Warmoth to my exact specs than buying something off an assembly line.
