Dream Car...

...alright, so I have an idea for a little thread here. Ive been watching a lot of Top Gear (UK :o), and I got to thinking about what my all time dream car would be, given that price and availability wasnt an option...so basically, any car ever, which one would you have?...example: JFK's Dallas Limo, Hitlers Land Rover, THE Mustang from Bullet...Dig?...


...so for me...a 1965 Jaguar E-Type in Opalescent Silver Blue...

...Ive never seen one in person, but I love it...the only improvement I would add is the little jaguar hood ornament, and I would modify it so that the eyes glowed red, and smoke came out of the nose and mouth...

I have not had a dream car in a long time, resigning myself to the realities of grown up life with a four cylinder commuter car, but when this was announced I actually checked the balance of my retirement account and briefly considered it as a down payment.

Cars and guitars are similar to me. I dont think I could say I have one dream car. I know for sure one would have to be an Eleanor Mustang like the one in "Gone in 60 Seconds." One would likely be a big ass truck. I really do like the Corvette too. And I am sure one would have to be an exotic super car, probably Ferrari.

Too many to pick but my heart always seems to be with the good ol' American muscle car.

There are soooo many that I would put on a list of "MUST own if I ever got rich", but if one were to be just given to me that I was goiong to drive every day, I still think I would go with the Ferrari F355 F1.

Fast, but not overwhelmingly so. Beautiful, but not obnoxious and completely over the top. There are better looking cars IMO but this one for me has the perfect balance of everything.
