There was a small luthier exhibit in the basement at NAMM and I ran across this:

This guitar was the most resonant acoustic I've ever seen. You couldn't play any of these instruments but I strummed the strings open and then touched the neck it was vibrating like crazy.

I was stoked to see an instrument from Lynn Dudenbostle...I watched a series of shows on the DIY channel a few years ago where they followed him though the construction of an instrument all the way though and I've always wanted to try one of his instruments. I couldn't try this one of course but it was neat to at least see one in person.
