Not counting gas, or paying bills.
NO purchases. At all. Can you? Just one week?

I'd like to try, but I don't know how I would get through a weekend without buying a beer at a bar.

I think I can do it. We usually only go for groceries on Saturday because we've got really long workdays. So, unless it's an absolute emergency we don't shop much during the week.

Yeah, I think so.
As long as I'm well stocked on the essentials (bread, beer, cigarettes) beforehand. :o

Sure. If I intentionaly stocked up on what I needed, as a few others have said. I am sure we have gone 7 days before.

I could but it would be tough with 4 teenagers at home. We go through a LOT of food (6 gallons of milk a week).

Haha. I only have 2 kids, and they arent even teenagers, and I can relate to that.

I probably could if I needed to.
I may not have the staples but I'll eat canned olives on crackers if need be. I'm sure I could scrounge together something edible for seven days.
Additionally, I collect samples and save them for when I go on trips or whatever so even if I ran out of toiletries, I would have samples to fall back on.
I could easily make it a week without buying a thing.

Im going to try. My GF read an article, its supposed to try and start good habits, making your own coffee vs starbucks, that type of thing.
I usually cook my own lunches anyway. So, i'll get some groceries after work, and try not to spend a dime until Sat the 18th. ;D
