Hey guys, been a while!

I'm still messin' with the 'stang, took advantage of the nice weather back in October and November and did some stuff:

Still detailing the engine bay. I've modified the charging system, gone from the stock G2 (75A) to the newer Ford G3 (130A) alternator, a Hayden Fan Control System (the electric fan came out of a Taurus), a huge 2 core 1" aluminum radiator

AC delete pulley, and other stuff
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g311/Steverino_2006/100_1451.jpg
Inside, recolored the rear seat, new rear deck (that panel over the speakers behind the rear seat) triple gauge pod (water temp, oil press, and volts)

new headlights, corners and signal lenses/bezels

and a lot of stuff you can't see, wiring, cleaning and tidying up.

Each summer the MS coast has "Cruisin' The Coast" where car enthusiasts come from all over the U.S. to cruise and show off their rides. I'm hoping to have the Mustang ready by then. Next up is more stuff including 3.73 gears.

Good to see all y'all still hangin' around!

Sweet!

I'm hoping to get to work on my truck this spring...still need a new family car to replace it as my daily driver, though...

Nice. I used to have a 1986 GT with 4.10 gears and a moderately massaged engine (heads, cams, rockers, valves, intake, headers, and such). It was stupid fast, or at least it felt that way at the time. I think the best I managed was a 12.6 ET, but most of the time it was more like 13 seconds.

Nice, i see your running a DUI distributor---or a facsimily of one. You really can not beat a HEI style distributor if you have the room to run one.

That wasn't my idea, it came that way. I'm a GM guy too so I see no problem with it other than it looks out of place on a Ford :D Those HEIs can go past 9 grand stock.

I just bought another set of chrome pony wheels from a guy in New Orleans, came with Toyo Proxes, 225/50ZR16s.

I just got a new Holley fuel pump regulator, new Auto Gage water temp gauge, new red wires and new rubber body moldings to replace the warped, bent ones on the body. Damn I wish it would warm up just a little!

I'd love to see more pics. I do have a soft spot for those old 5.0s.

Fox Mustangs with a stock motor and 4:10 gears are fast, any add-ons or mods are icing on the cake. That's why you see so many at the dragstrip!

The new tires and wheels I bought are chrome pony wheels, the same exact wheels I already had. Why buy another set of the same wheels, you ask? Well, 1) I love chrome ponies 2) they're getting hard to find and somewhat of an investment these days, the chrome ones in particular 3) now I have a set for cruising and a set for racing 4) i got a good deal one these and they came with those awesome Toyos (which are brand new and go for 150.00 bux apeice....

Here they are on the back. Definitely shorter and not as wide as the drag radials. I actually like this because it gives the car the sleeper look. That's what I'm going for. If you couldn't hear it or see the 3" pipes, you'd swear it was a stocker or a 4 popper.... then, SURPRISE!! (well, that hood is somewhat of a giveaway that something's afoot).... and yes, she needs paint. One day soon, I hope.

Here's the latest of the motor. Funny thing about that, I was putting those pretty, bright, new red wires on and decided to verify the firing order and the #1 position on the cap. I know the firing order of a stock 302 by heart; 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. I find #1 and start counterclockwise, 1-3? 7? 2? what the.... I get my book. I'll be damned. It's a 302HO (High Output) another surprise. The more I dig into this car (remember I got it for free and had no idea what had been done to it other than the 4 cyl to V8 swap). Too cool!

You can see the new Holley fuel pressure regulator on the left. One day, steel braided lines.

I guess you can see I'm going with a black/red scheme... oh yeah I see a new K&N filter on there!

Nice. I personally would love to see a small spoiler (SMALL, mind you) on the rear decklid, but that's a very cool, very subtle car. :thu:

I've thought about that too. I'm not sure if the LX coupe ever came with one, I think the Saleen may have. Most hatchbacks have them though.

Funny thing about these cars and their owners, they're very picky about body mods, ground effects and spoilers. It's got to look good, and NO ghetto stuff!!
