i can hear it rattle through the amp and the posts don't go all the way through. i want something more solid.

I'm not sure I have ever had an ABR1, though my Edwards may have one...I'll have to check when I get home. I know my Gibson is a Nashville style.

If the Edwards is an ABR1, I've never heard it rattling. I know it's got the skinny posts that screw directly into the wood, but I don't think it's got the wire retainer like an ABR1.

I'll check when I get home though.

well apparently i have dog ears, because i can hear it on every one i've played. that said, this is why they make replacement bridges, so wackos like me can get through the night.

I played mine tonight and it DID rattle... I traced it to this in the control cavity.
