Copy of my ad on CL below. Didn't want to re-write everything. :)
'59 Les Paul Replica - $3250
Thinning my stock and selling my '59 LP Replica. This is an amazing guitar, custom made from old-growth wood, including legal Brazilian rosewood for the fretboard, and using hide glue to join the pieces. Nothing was spared in the construction of this guitar - the neck has also had a PLEK treatment, so it plays amazingly. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have a '58 reissue and Nighthawk that cover the tonal territory for me, and I'm simply removing the duplication in my collection. If you've ever wondered why players like Slash love these replicas, now's your chance to own one.
Features:
* One piece Honduran (Old Growth) Mahogany body and neck (long tenon), 1959 neck profile
* Brazilian rosewood fretboard with trap inlays
* Slightly tapered neck at the butt (no baseball bats here)
* Lightly figured (realistic) maple top
* Holly headstock veneer
* RS Guitarworks (Winchester, KY) Nitro Lacquer finish with light aging in a Perryburst (Joe Perry burst colors), includes RS Guitarworks Certificate of Authenticity
* PLEK and nut work
* RS aluminum tailpiece
* Tonepros AVRII bridge (Locking) ABR-1 Bridge with Maple Flame Mod (extra long stainless steel bridge studs)
* Pots and Tone Capacitors from RS Guitarworks
* Bone Nut
* Wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups with aged Nickel covers
* Single line Kluson tuners
* Weighs 9.68 lbs and is a rock machine
* Year Built: 2008
* Includes a Gibson HSC
Condition: I've only gigged with this a few times in church - no bar gigs. Other than the light aging, this guitar is mint condition. The Wolfetone pups are stellar.
As I mention in my review below, please PM me for the luthier information. I will not out them publicly.
