I have been trying to eat healthier and work out as much as possible, as much as our busy lives let us get away with anyway, so I am feeling pretty guilty as I sit here with a pack of Raspberry Zingers.

I don't know what is wrong with me. They only taste good once about every 10 years and I can onlyl eat one of the cakes at a time, it usually takse me three or four days to eat a whole package of them, but once every blue moon I get this hideous and uncontrollable craving that I must have a raspberry zinger.

So here I sit, my hair still drippping from laps in the pool with a mouthful of raspberry coconut gooeyness.

Living a healthy life should not be something negative, to give up everything that is good in life. Modern life has during the last decades gone over to pure hedonism, everything should be joyful, more and more, and the more the better. To fight that tendency a life without joy and total ascetism probably will be one answer, but an answer few wants to follow. I suggest living a life according to the concept of Enlightened hedonism: to have more knowledge what is healthy and find joy in eating good food and drinking nice wines, itīs a koncept very close to the Slow Food movement in Northern Italy. It means to spend some hours in the kitchen cooking stock, drinking a glass of wine, speaking with the kids, making a delicious dinner using the stock, listening to good music.

I often down a couple of Bud Lites and yell at the dogs while the TV dinner is cooking in the microwave.

Baby steps, but I think I'm on the right path. :weebz:

If raspberry Zingers were my only weakness I wouldn't feel so bad, but I am a very weak woman. eat0

Not that bad actually....

The same night you zingered out I went to Carl's Jr and had the Six Dollar Jalapeno Burger. After I ordered I looked at the 'nutrition' chart.

73 grams of fat....plus I ate the fries....

Can you deep fry Zingers???

Damn you. And damn your delicious, creative ideas.

Mine will have to wait until Saturday. Not enough time during the week to drag out the deep fryer.
