Well, I wanted something that was a bit easier to carry than my Randall, so I got this a couple of hours ago:

It's a Marshall AVT20. This is a 20 watt hybrid (tube pre-amp, and solid state power amp), with a 10" Celesion in a closed back. They haven't been made in several years, and surprisingly, were made in England. I took the Tele with me, when I tried it out. It came down to this amp, and one of the new Vox AC15VRs. The Vox had nice cleans, but was bit too upper midrangey for my tastes in the distortion channel. The AVT20 didn't have quite as much chime, but it had more low end, and it sounded surprsingly warm, when played clean. I got it for a great price too - was able to trade my Randall even up for it. All in all, a good day for me guitar gear-wise.
