Yeah, it's probably my favorite thing I've written. I can't take all the credit for it, though. Lino, my bandmate actually came up with the riffs. I arranged it and worked out the drums, bass, and guitar solo, and I wrote the lyrics. That's also Lino on acoustic guitar. I'm doing everything else.

Haha I admit to being heavily influenced by Hetfield. Im not a great lead player at all, I have always just really worked on my right hand and worked on getting that.....chest thumping, growly power chord thing goin on. Nobody did that better than Metallica back in the day, IMO. I would post more but I am so limited at the guitar port, I really havent figured out how to put changes in, which is why they are just loops up there. Kind of embarrassing lol.

No, 2 5150s. Im the rhythm monkey. We have them both set different, hes definitely more mid, and I am a bit more scooped so we get the best of both worlds. It sounds better live IMO, its full, thick, and ballsy, but I am still happy with most of the CD.

Thats cool...I've always wanted to try a 5150 but they aren't right for most of what I do...they just seem like they'd be fun to play through. Do you have an original one?

Not exactly sure what he did, I do know that I have a clean boost, mid boost, and re-voiced clean and drive channels. He claims the clean is closer to a blackface, and the drive channels are Dumble type. Not really an amp head, I really don't know what a Dumble is supposed to sound like, however, I do know that the drive channels are very usable now, at least for hotter pickups (humbuckers). I tend to prefer my OCD and TS into the clean channel for my strats.

That track was recorded directly into the amp on the less drive channel no boosts, drive around 6 - maybe a hair over bedroom level, basement level :) - that's were I hang.
