Framus Renegade Custom II

How many guitarists would like to have that crisp twang for sharp rhythm attacks that cuts its way through the band's sound, plus strong singing leads and full, clean chords? All this without any hum is actually possible with high-quality pickups by American pickup manufacturer Seymour Duncan. There"s a mini-humbucker (SM-1N) in the neck position that's screwed directly into the body and provides vintage output with a fat, open tone. At the bridge and resting nicely inside the metallic bridge plate is the Seymour Duncan STK-T3B. This pickup delivers its sparkling, twangy and cutting single coil tone hum-free thanks to its stacked design. The top-notch pickups and hardware are rounded off with a selected wood combination that includes an ash body, a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. A versatile tone selection and light weight was the goal and we achieved it with this understated work-horse of tone!

I could get along with that.

I'd like to see a straight-on pic of it, though. The lower horn looks like it might be elongated and that could throw the whole thing off kilter. Who knows. From this angle, though, it's hot.

Looks pretty good to me. I'd have to play it though to determine if it's indeed hot or not.

Very nice - but pretty much the same guitar as the Fender Hot Rod Tele for about twice the price of the Fender.

yep.

imo, they're not worth it. not when you can get a used 50s Classic Tele for $500 and do what you want to it.
