PRS makes Les Pauls now? tongue0
How accurate is the intonation with that bridge?
Do you get the "both pickups on full in the middle position" sound?
This might be the PRS for me biggrin

I'd hit it with extreme prejudice. drool0
Mark, from what I've heard, that bridge is pretty damned accurate up to about 12 gauge with a wound G string.
And yeah, AFAIK, the controls are identical to a LP.

I think you can adjust the overall angle, but not the individual strings. Apparently though, it's pretty much dead on if you get the E strings adjusted right.

also, tone pros makes a direct drop in replacement that has individually adjustable saddles.

That right there would seal the deal for me if I played one of these and actually liked it.

I've played one 245 and liked it a lot, but it was about $2600 used. Of course, it had bird inlays and a 10 top. It was also at a local place that either has great prices or absurd prices depending on who put the price tag on the guitar, I guess. idn_smilie

Gibson's MAP on an 08 Les Paul Standard is $2400.

When I can afford a PRS, that right there, in that configuration and color, WILL be the one I get. I'll probably spend the extra bucks for birdies, though.
Thank you for that picture.

Which is about $1000 more than it should be.
I don't know. I just can't get over the $1500 price barrier. Especially for a used guitar.

:i:
Finally, a PRS I could really like! Usually the flame on the front is too over the top for me and the inlays are generally too 'birdish'. But this is very nicely subdued while still being very nice looking....
So I would take one in a second - if they were not massively overpriced......

i paid $1700 for my Custom 24 Goldtop in '05. the only piece of gear that cost me more was my amp, and Allen Encore. i have yet to go above $2k, and i don't intend on it. maybe in 10 years when LP standards hit $10k, i'll think about it.
