Twist the Knife

This is my first foray into writing allegorical lyrics. I think they stand on their own as a description of a lover's betrayal, but it's really about the how huge investment firms betrayed their clients in the recent economic downturn. Case in point: Goldman Sachs recommending risky, mortgage-backed securities to the clients, then betting against those same securities, making a HUGE profit. It's like stabbing someone in the heart then twisting it to add insult to injury. :eek:
