I played my first gig with the Yamaha. I was able to leave the 6-string at home and play all my guitar stuff on it. The tone is fantastic; plenty of bass and no excessive treble. I have some recording from the gig that I hope to upload in the next day or so.

I heard a lot about Yamaha acoustics on the HCAG forum; they are the only "cheap" guitar that gets any real respect there. Now I understand why. :aok: :D

Thats cool!

Yamaha is one company that you can't really go wrong with on the low end of things....I have an old APX acoustic that is great for what it is...

Nice one. I'll be looking forward to hearing the clips. I bought a Yamaha acoustic a couple of Xmases ago for the equivalent of $35. Excellent guitar for the price, although it's mostly been sitting in my closet since I bought it.

Glad the 12 string is working out well! Some songs just need the extra a 12 string brings...
